Grade 5 Ballet

In Grade 5, children continue to expand upon the steps learned in the previous grades, securing technique including core stability, weight placement, turn out and line.

After Grade 5, children can either stay onto Grade 6,7 & 8 or start to take the major grades which then continues onto teaching qualifications and professional status.

As in Grade 4, within the Grade 5 exam, children are asked to explain ballet terms and demonstrate the concept also performing an improvised dance to music supplied by the examiner.

COVID-19 – May 2020

Cirencester Dance Club are following the government guidelines so we are offering online dance classes for our Summer term. We understand how important dance is to everyone’s physical and mental wellbeing. We are offering a number of packages that will suit everyone as we are aware that this current situation has affected many people financially and emotionally. We also have extended our bursary offering so please get in touch to discuss all options available – to us the communities wellbeing is the most important thing.
