About Us

Cirencester Dance Club is changing the culture of dance studios, we aim to encourage a widespread love of the Performing Arts and to provide a place where students feel included, inspired and supported. We have been serving our local community since 1946, we are the longest running dance school in the local area and it’s because of our values and our passion to inspire all our students.

We welcome students of all ages and abilities and everyone gets to shine at Cirencester Dance Club. We believe that arts education brings people together, inspires them and helps them dream.  We know how important dance and music is for improving physical health as well as mental health, we nurture minds and bodies in our inclusive dance and drama classes.

We are passionate about providing a supportive and positive dance experience where our students and families feel safe, valued and included.  Our students develop confidence and self-belief, they learn to support each other, they form lasting friendships, learn to express themselves through the arts and it’s a pleasure to watch them blossom and grow.

We know that our students may have different goals and that is why we offer a number of different styles of classes and we encourage them to work to the best of their abilities.

Our CDC Kidz Club classes are an innovative, new approach to introduce dance to our youngest stars, there are two pathways to choose from before entering our main dance school.  We also offer the opportunity to learn different skills in our supplementary WOW Workshops throughout the year and our Summer Schools.

We have classes to cater for all ages from 2 years old to adults, and classes to suit all abilities, with an emphasis on non-judgmental participation and enjoyment.

Cirencester Dance Club members also have the opportunity to perform in annual shows and showcases as well as local events and festivals.

The Club is managed by a voluntary Committee and our wonderful, professional teaching team. In 2007, in recognition of its contribution to the community, the Club was granted charitable status and where we have been able to grow our community dance school.

We would love to welcome to be part of our dance family and can’t wait to make some magical moments with you.

Our Mission
