Marie-Louise Flexen- Interdepen-Dance Lead

Marie-Louise Flexen is a dynamic and seasoned dance artist with a flair for versatility! Not only is she an award-winning choreographer, but she’s also collaborated with some of the biggest names in dance and theatre since graduating from the London School of Contemporary Dance in 1992.

Since 2002, Marie-Louise has been a creative powerhouse, producing and directing a wide range of performances funded by the Arts Council. From large-scale site-specific works to touring dance theatre, dance films, street theatre, and even cabaret, she’s done it all. She’s also had the thrill of creating performances for iconic musicians like Sparks and Jarvis Cocker.

As a core company member of the internationally acclaimed Seven Sisters Group London from 1994-2002, Marie-Louise lit up stages at prestigious venues like The Royal Opera House, Royal Festival Hall, The National Theatre, and even train stations across Europe! From 2012 to 2018, she continued to dazzle audiences as a company dancer with Sole Rebel and Swerve Dance Theatre.

In 2021, Marie-Louise received an Arts Council Developing Your Creative Practice grant to explore a unique passion: dancing with horses. That same year, she joined Mandala Theatre Company in Oxford, working on movement direction and choreography, while also reigniting a collaboration with The Velcro Collective in Gloucestershire—a partnership that’s been going strong for 15 years.

Her talent hasn’t gone unnoticed—Marie-Louise snagged the 2015 Inspiring Leader Award from Dance UK, was a finalist for The Place Prize choreography award in 2005, and was nominated for a Total Theatre Award in 2007. She’s a true dance visionary with a passion for breaking new ground!

Pippa Eddolls- Director / Ballet Lead / Adult Fitness

Pippa’s dance journey kicked off back in her GCSE days when she discovered her passion for movement. Her final year choreography was even showcased at the Chichester Fringe Event! After moving from Sussex to Wiltshire, she dove deeper into Performing Arts at New College, Swindon, where she honed her singing skills and performed in pantos, musicals, and dance showcases.

After graduating, Pippa took her talents abroad, spending a season in Majorca as an entertainer for a holiday chain. There, she not only wowed audiences with her singing and dancing but also learned to scuba dive!

Returning to the UK, Pippa moved to Walsall, where she began teaching at a local performing arts school.
